In Windows operating system, When C: drive is full and the hard disk color is red the drive means the hard disk partition c: is full. This situation creates a problem and the windows operating system in not properly working. 

Now we have the option to check the hard disk space manually and see where is space is wasted and used. Check each folder space manually and count the space.  This process is very time-consuming and tedious. 

Now we can use Hard disk space analyzer tools to overcome this problem. Windows Directory Statistics (WinDirStat) is a type of tool useful for managing the hard disk space easily in any version of windows. 

The software can be downloaded from https://windirstat.info/. It scans the whole hard disk and presents it with useful views (directory list, tree map, and extension list). This tool gives an idea of where my space is used or wasted. It gives you a clear picture of hard disk space.
